Another season has come to a end for warren motorsport and its been a busy one! Unfortunatly it has meant the updates on here have been a bit slim but we are looking to improve that over the next season. So after a up and down end to the season the team would like to thank our main sponsers this season in Weldwell nz and also Betterbuilt. Both have provided us with valuable support. Also to everyone else that has helped and supported us throughtout the 2011/2012 season. We look back with some good results at both Baypark Speedway and also Harrisville speedway however next season we hope to have a better run of luck and a bit less down time due to bad luck with motors and accidents. We now go into the rebuild stage prepaparing everything for next season.

Well it has been a busy time at Warren Motorsport the last few weeks with running nearly every weekend at the springs and the New Zealand champs at huntly 2 weeks ago it has been a interesting start to our season. Our second meeting on the 19th of november at western springs speedway was a challenge to say the least with a few changes made to the car from the last meeting we were off to a good start in the hets but were unable to make the most of the trying conditions and only managed to start from grid 19 in the feature with a car that wasnt quite going forward aswell as we liked we were only able to finish in 16th but the laps all add to the experience the team are looking for. Our next meeting on the 26th of november went well with the heats being a bit of the challenge on a trying surface we were able to make a start position of 13th and with a clean run keeping out of trouble we were able to make up a few places to finish 7th. With only four days till huntly and the New Zealand champs it was a good way to go into it. With qualifying run on the friday night making the top 16 qualifiers was never going to be a easy task. However a bit of luck and some good driving in the final heat race saw Darren Qualify the car for Sat night without the need to go into the repercharge. Sat night would be a task in itself with 3 20lap heats to decide the 25lap grid positions winner take all final. The first heat saw us start from grid 13 but we managed to miss the set up slightly and went backwards instead. Heat two saw us take grid 3 however a spin and a very dusty infeild put the end to our night with the car suffering extensive damage. It has been a busy few weeks preparing the car for the huntly 40 lapper on sat night however the weather decided to keep that from happining.. So without a shakedwown for the car the team now gear up for the opening round of the international series on boxing night hopefully with everything in the new chassis going well.

Opening Night at western Springs proved to be a interesting one for the Warren Motorsport team. After a hard week of motor changes the 99 midget ran strong with no real motor problems. The first heat saw Darren start from grid 6 on a very fast heavy track to claim a 5th position with the heat running from green to finish passing oppurtunities were slim.In the second heat the track went away a bit with Darren again starting from grid 5 and staying there in a fast feild of cars. This put Darren off grid 1o for the feature however a issue with the rear arms saw the car become very difficult to drive and with 7  laps to go a half spin cost the team a early retirement for the night. However there was alot taken away from the night and with a week off its been a busy time at h.q making small changes to the car for the next meeting at Western Springs on the 19th of november.

It has been a busy off season at Warren Motorsport however with a little less work to do now the team has stepped down to running only one car. The 99A Breka/Ed Pink Ford Midget of Darren is being run again this season however the T.Q of Amanda has been stepped down from full time duty nad will only be run on the odd occasion at meeanee speedway, in the hope it will increase interest in the sale of it. Warren Motorsport are pleased to announce Weldwell NZ as naming rights sponser of the car this season along with Betterbuilt. There has been a few small changes from last season to the car with the addition of a new Racetech seat to inrcrease comfort and safety and reduce weight in the car. With the aim for this season to gain as much seat time as possible to improve the team in results we have already had a few test runs at meeanee and look forwrd to our first official practice this weekend at WesternSprings Speedway.

After what can only be described as a trying season for one side of the Warren Motorsport team, Amanda has seen a good end to her final season in t.qs. With only 3 meetings to go at Western springs Amanda was able to gain a step on the podium in what was one of the best drives of her career. With a good starting position out of grid four Amanda wass able to keep with the front three cars moving to 3rd then with a front runner dropping out Amanda was able to hold onto second. However this was too good to be and with only a corner to go 16A Ryan Barry proved just how much amatuer of a driver he is by taking out Amanda and rolling the 33a car. Luckly the race was called and Amanda was able to hold onto the second place finish. With the season now over the car is up for sale and Amanda has moved up to become crew chief on the midget which will prove invaluable. The team has now down scaled a bit in transporter size in preparation to only run the midget for the upcoming season. The car and motor are now fully stripped ready for all the off season rebuilds, with what is promising to be a good season this year after finally getting all the car sorted towards the end of last season and gaining some valuable seat time to learn the car. The Team now look forward to  the upcoming season.
